By Luca Adams-Agresti

In this page I will be explaining my favorite dog breeds and the reasons for me liking them! I am a huge dog lover and always will be. I try not to be biased towards dog breeds I have owned! Anyways, thanks for reading!

10. Great Danes

Great danes are often called gentle gaints due to their large size and joyful spirits. They
currently hold the record for largest dog. It was named Zeus, and he stood at 3
feet 8 inches from the paw to shoulders. (The official measurement from the
guinness world records.)

9. Bernese Moutain Dogs

Bernese mountains dogs are great big fluffy dogs. They are filled with joy and
are very cute. They do have a double coat, that means a lot of shedding, but they're worth it!
They're also great family dogs. Their lifepspan is commonly 6-8 years and are usually 80-110 pounds.

8. Goldendoodles

Golden Retrievers are one of most common dogs but a downside to them is their
shedding, but what doesn't shed? Poodles. Goldendoodles a cross-breed between golden
retrievers and poodles and have curly fur. They for about 10-15 years and usually weigh
30-45 pounds.

7. Australian Labrodoodles

Australian Labrodoodles are cross bred between labordors, poodles, and cocker
spaniels. Australian labrodoodles are very similar to labrodoodles, which are very similar
to goldendoodles. Labradoodles are a mix of labadors and poodles. This breed came as a
way to have a labador without the shedding. Australian labradoodles are just labradoodles
with the cocker spaniel. They usually live up to 13-15 years and could weigh from 15-60
pounds.

6. Doberman

Doberman are some of the most loyals dogs ever, they oringinated in Germany to be a
guard dog. Now, they're mostly known for their police work, but dont take this the wrong way.
Doberman are family dogs as long as kids are friendly towards them, and you'll have great protection.

5. Border Collie
The Border Collie is a working and herding dog breed developed in the Scottish borders for
herding livestock, especially sheep. It was specifically bred for intelligence and obedience. It is very
fetch-oriented. The can weigh between 25-45 pounds and can live up to 17 years.
4. German Shepherds.

German shepherds are very gentle companions and family protectors with proper
training and socialization. It's an ideal breed for active households. The intelligence and
protective demeanor of this breed can make it a great choice as long as the dog is properly trained.

3. Siberian Huskies

Affectionate and good natured describes the Siberian Husky. Generally, they do well with
children although young children should never be left alone with any breed. They also get along with
people and do well in homes with multiple dogs. Siberian Huskies were bred to need very little food to
survive. They weigh between 35-60 pounds and can live up to 15 years.

2. Labodor Retrievers

Labs are widely considered to be good family dogs. And this is absolutely true, for a lot of
families. With their reputation for being outgoing, gentle and easy to train, it's not surprising
that the Labrador Retriever is America's most popular dog breed. They weigh between 55-79
pounds and can live up to 14 years.

1. Golden Retriever

Golden Retrievers are absolutely amazing dogs, the only downside I can think of is the
voluminous shedding. However the updsides feel close to endless, they are the fourth smartest dog breed
in the world, and are reported to be gifted enough to be able to grasp the meaning of 165 words. This also makes them incredibly easy to train. But if you're not looking for a dog that's cute and fluffy, you might be suprised to hear they also are incredibly athletic and were bred to retrieve ducks, birds etc. If your worried that your golden retriever might be aggresive from instict, your wrong, they are possibly the sweetest dog breed on this earth. They weigh between 55-75 pounds and can live up to 12 years.
